What is DDR2?
DDR2 SDRAM stands for double-data-rate two synchronous
dynamic random access memory. It is an improved
version of the other RAM technology called DDR SDRAM.
DDR2's advantage over DDR is that it is faster and
more efficient. It is also that the new DDR2 provides
more bandwidth and density, thus increasing the
efficiency of the memory. DDR2 also uses less memory
than its predecessor.
