During my stay, I am exploring the option of hiring a government-approved tourist taxi (yellow plate vehicle) for a more personalised and accessible travelling experience. I would be grateful if members could kindly share information on the following: 1. Day Charges – What are the standard rates (for 8 hours / 100 km) for different categories of vehicles such as hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs, and Innova/Crysta? 2. Extra Usage Charges – The official time is usually considered 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (8 hours). If the trip exceeds this period, how are additional charges applied? • Is it per extra hour, per extra kilometre, or both? • Are there separate night-time surcharges (for example, after 10:00 PM)? 3. Trusted Agencies/Companies – If any members have reliable contacts of agencies or companies providing such government-approved taxi services in Goa, I would really appreciate if you could share their details. This will help me and possibly other members who are also planning to attend the Purple Fest to arrange smooth, accessible, and hassle-free transportation.
