Omkar,
You did a great job highlighting the issue on X/Twitter. That really matters.

My suggestion would be to wait a day or two if there’s no response to your
post, then reach out to the CCPD directly. In similarly, you can also email the
support team and request a refund. When they ask for the reason, you’ll have a
clear opportunity to share your concern and request either a fix or a refund.

Subject: [AI] Request for support in highlighting accessibility issue with Kuku
FM app for visually impaired people

Hello everyone,
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to share an important accessibility
issue I recently faced with the Kuku FM: Audiobooks & Stories app. Many of you
might already know about this app — it provides a wide collection of audiobooks
and stories in different languages and genres, and it is quite popular among
listeners in India.
Until recently, the app was fairly usable with Google TalkBack, though there
were some minor accessibility issues. However, after the update released on 6th
September 2025, the app has become almost completely inaccessible for visually
impaired users. Once an audiobook or story starts playing, none of the options
like Next Episode, Search, or Library navigation are reachable with TalkBack.
The focus does not move, gestures do not work, and essentially no feature of
the app can be used.
As a regular listener and a paid annual subscriber of this app, I felt very
disappointed with this sudden decline in accessibility. That is why I raised
this concern on X (Twitter) by tagging the developers, hoping that they take
notice and work on a fix.

I kindly request you all to please like, share the link of this post with Your
friends and family, and repost my post so that it reaches the concerned
authorities quickly. Your support will help ensure that visually impaired users
continue to have equal access to such valuable platforms.
Thank you so much for your time and support.
Warm regards,
Omkar Pawaskar.
