I am writing this message to bring to your attention a very serious and risky incident that recently happened with me involving my newly purchased POCO X6 5G smartphone. When I kept my phone for charging, within 10–15 minutes the battery overheated and melted completely. This led to a small fire — my laptop charger and even my wooden table were burned. Thankfully, I noticed it on time; otherwise, it could have resulted in a major accident. Such an incident is not just about product failure — it is a serious safety hazard, especially for persons with disabilities, who may not be able to react quickly in such emergency situations. This kind of negligence from a reputed company like POCO is extremely alarming.
