I understand you need an efficient way to turn location off immediately after marking your daily attendance.
please note that it is strongly recommended not to turn off Location Services entirely. Critical security and recovery features, such as Find My, rely on this setting to be active. If your device is ever lost or stolen, having Location Services enabled is crucial for finding its last known location and protecting your information.
The best practice is to use a quick method to toggle the service off temporarily (like after your attendance app use) and then turn it back on as soon as possible.

Since Apple does not include a direct Location Services on/off switch in the Control Center, the fastest method is to create a custom Shortcut that launches the exact Settings page, and then map that Shortcut to a Control Center tile.
Part 1: Create the Location Settings Shortcut
This shortcut uses a special deep link to jump past several menus straight to the Location Services toggle.
 * Open the Shortcuts App on your iPhone.
 * Tap the + icon in the top right corner to start a New Shortcut.
 * Tap 'Add Action'.
 * In the search bar, look for and select the 'Open URL' action.
 * In the blank URL field, carefully paste the following deep link:
   prefs:root=Privacy&path=LOCATION
(This is the instruction that opens the specific Settings page.)
 * Tap the shortcut name at the top (it might say "Open URL"), rename it to something descriptive like 'Location Toggle', and select a clear icon/color.
 * Tap 'Done' to save the new shortcut.
Part 2: Map the Shortcut Directly to a Control Center Tile
On iOS 26.01, you can edit the functionality of Control Center tiles directly on the screen.
 * Open Control Center (Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen).
 * Enter Edit Mode: Tap and hold on any control tile you wish to use as your quick toggle. This will activate the editing interface for that tile.
 * Customize the Action: Within the editing interface, look for the option to 'Run Shortcut' or 'Select Action'.
 * Choose Your Shortcut: A list of your custom shortcuts will appear. Select the 'Location Toggle' shortcut you created in Part 1.
 * Exit Edit Mode: Once the custom shortcut is assigned, swipe up or down, or tap the screen outside the editing interface to stop editing the Control Center.
The tile you customized will now be a quick, one-tap button that instantly opens the Location Services page, allowing you to toggle the main service on or off efficiently after marking your attendance.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance!
Sincerely,

Thanks for your response, but, I have already turned it off. I have repeated the steps and again turned it off. Still it vibrates.

Hello! Congratulations on your new iPhone 16! That vibration feedback (also known as "haptic feedback") during typing is a feature that many people like to turn off.
Here is how you can disable the keyboard vibration on your iPhone 16:
 * Open Settings: Tap the Settings app on your Home Screen.
 * Go to Sounds & Haptics: Scroll down and tap on Sounds & Haptics.
 * Find Keyboard Feedback: Scroll down in this menu and tap on Keyboard Feedback.
 * Turn Off Haptic: You will see two options: "Sound" and "Haptic". Tap the toggle next to Haptic to turn it Off (the switch will turn grey).
Once you do that, the keyboard should no longer vibrate when you type.
If you are still experiencing issues, or if you would like to also turn off the keyboard clicking sound, I would be happy to provide additional troubleshooting steps!
Sincerely,
