Dear list members, Every year I have to submit life certificate in Nov. for epf pension. I have bank account in PNB bank. Today I went to bank for this reason. But I was told that banks have discarded thumb impression for the certificate and now face recognition is the only system available. For a totally blind person this system cannot be used. I was told to get it done outside. Fortunately the bank Manager solved my problem. I want to know is the thumb impression system discarded by banks? If so how can we submit life certificate? Please suggest way out for the problem. I think it is incorrect to discard the system and it create lot of problems for our community. Sincerely, C. B. Kulkarni
