Dear AccessIndians,

I am writing to inquire whether there are any tools available that can
assist in reading PDF documents on a Windows computer. The format of
such tools—whether add-ons or standalone applications—does not matter,
provided they are preferably free of cost.

A key requirement is that the tool should be capable of reading
scanned PDF documents effectively. For context, I am currently using
Windows 11 with NVDA as my screen reader.
Sometimes, I feel that mobile apps have become more accessible than
computers. By installing apps like Envision AI, we no longer need to
struggle to read PDF documents.
