Hi Rajath,
You should try sqlite. Although it is not as powerful as ms sql or MySql, but
it provides all the minimum features you require. Also if I remember correctly,
sqlite has support for various languages like c++ and vb.net etc (even for php
to use within the server).
Try google for the url of the sqlite db.

hi guys
Any1 knows how to join vb forms with excel worksheet like we join vb
with sql. The problem with using sql is that you need the sql program
in the host machine . Well i tried i have tried using files to
overcome this problem but that isnt very powerfull.
Alternative i thought ms excell is the best option . So anyone has an
idea how to join them and also get some of the features available in
excell like sort and others in the form.. Awaiting your answers ..
