Hello members,

Today, we're sharing something that is truly significant.

This appreciation letter is from Mr. Ramaswamy Dharmarajan Iyer — India’s
first visually impaired officer in the Indian Economic Service (IES).
And I want to say this clearly: this is no joke. A person who has reached
this stature in Indian governance, policy, and public service does not put
his name behind anything casually.

He is also a vivid, seasoned traveller for the past 45 years. He has seen
the world through experience, not assumptions. So when someone like him
chooses to trust RSKC, travel with us, and then write about what he felt —
it becomes more than an appreciation note.

It becomes a public signal of credibility, safety, and trust for our entire
community.

I’m sharing his message exactly as it is, in his own words.

— Message begins —
Rising Star Khilte Chehre (RSKC) was founded by Mr. Amit Jain in 2019, with
its registered office in New Delhi. RSKC is a pioneering, structured
real-world experiential learning movement that enables visually impaired
citizens to move, learn, and lead independently—transforming fear into
confidence and dependence into leadership.
So far, RSKC has empowered 1,300+ visually impaired citizens and reached
10,000+ lives globally, with growing recognition for its inclusive work.

I came to know about RSKC’s inclusive travel programmes through a WhatsApp
group in 2025. Being a frequent traveller for the past 45 years, I got in
touch with the team and was impressed by their plans for inclusive tours
for visually impaired persons along with volunteers. After visiting their
website, I decided to join their Dubai and Abu Dhabi trip in November 2025,
along with my wife and aunt. The team supported us thoroughly with the
documentation process and ensured a smooth experience.

I was amazed to see that 25 visually impaired travellers joined from
different places, including the USA. We were very well received by the RSKC
organisers, Ms. Lovely Sarkar Soti and Mr. Amit Soti. The staff at Dubai
Grand Hotel welcomed us warmly and offered every possible help. The rooms
were comfortable with modern facilities. The breakfast at the hotel, and
lunches and dinners at various places during the tour, were excellent with
multiple options.

Our tour guide on the bus provided audio descriptions of locations along
with historical background, which gave us valuable insight and knowledge.

The organisers showed remarkable patience and endurance and supported us in
every possible way—help with meals, escorting at different locations,
washroom support, medical assistance when needed, and more. Prior
arrangements for entry at various places saved time and made the journey
smooth. Their consistent warmth and encouragement kept the group motivated
throughout.

At no point did we feel limited during the tour. Dubai is a highly
accessible destination with strong public facilities. We have decided to
travel with RSKC again in the future and look forward to more inclusive,
well-managed, and joyful travel experiences with their team.

I wish Mr. Amit Jain and the entire RSKC team the very best in achieving
their mission and goals.

Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
