The author of the article, if I remember correctly, was our list member in the past. People may find some good points and analysis in it. However, out of a total budgetary allocation of ₹53.47 lakh crore for the financial year 2026-27, a meagre sum of ₹1,670 crore has been allocated for the disability sector. This amount is hardly 0.03% of the total allocation. This means for every ₹100, people with disability gets only 3 paise. I wonder how Shri Shashank Pandey could call it "generous"?
