Hi everyone, I had a question for those who have been using the RailOne app. Yesterday, I tried adding an escort, but ran into several issues. After filling in all the details — including selecting the category as “Escort,” entering the DOBs of both the PWD and the escort, the escort’s name, etc. — and submitting the form, the app displays the escort’s name correctly, but the escort’s DOB automatically changes to that of the PWD. The category also switches from “Escort” to “PWD,” and it cannot be changed back. Even resetting the escort’s DOB does not fix the issue. In addition, the drop-down menus sometimes do not respond at all when clicked. Also, if one skips filling in a mandatory field before submitting, some extra words/characters automatically get entered into the name section. Another issue is that if I try adding the escort during the ticket booking process, the app makes it compulsory to upload the escort’s ID card, even though it is still marked as “optional.” I also tried using the old IRCTC app, but there too, adding an ID card — even while adding a passenger to the master list — appears to be mandatory. This requirement, however, has been made optional while adding passengers in the new app’s passenger list section. Has anyone here been able to successfully add an escort through the RailOne app? Also, for some reason, there seems to be no proper in-app option to report issues. The “Help and Support” section eventually redirects to the FAQ page and does not provide any way to actually raise a complaint or bug report.
