Dear Members of the Access India
I am writing to alert you to a serious and well-organised fraud that has been deliberately targeting members of the visually impaired community for the past five to six years. The person responsible is Aman Chaudhary, operating under the name Audio TV Network, which presents itself as a platform for media, audio production, and digital training. HOW VICTIMS ARE TARGETED Aman Chaudhary uses highly polished and sympathetic language to gain the trust of vulnerable individuals. He projects himself as a genuine well-wisher, making it easy even for cautious people to be taken in. Once trust is established, the following fraudulent tactics have been reported: 1. FALSE CREDENTIALS He falsely claims to have completed a specialised counselling course from Aligarh Muslim University to present himself as a qualified educator and counsellor. 2. FAKE OFFICE AND STAFF He claims to operate a large physical office with more than 35 employees. No such office exists. 3. FAKE UNIVERSITY COLLABORATION Prospective students are promised certificates from Sanskriti University upon completing courses. No such collaboration exists, and not a single student has ever received a certificate. 4. INVESTMENT FRAUD People are persuaded to invest their savings under a fake investment scheme. After taking the money, he stalls victims with excuses for over eleven months and makes no refunds. 5. EQUIPMENT FRAUD Money is collected for microphones, cameras, and other digital equipment. Victims are given fake courier tracking IDs for deliveries that are never made. 6. TRAVEL AND TRIP FRAUD Advance payments are collected for trips that never take place, with no refunds even after five months. 7. FAKE HEALTH INSURANCE A supposedly free health insurance scheme is offered to members, which provides no real benefit and causes significant distress. 8. SCRIBE FRAUD (Particularly Serious) Visually impaired students are promised scribes for their board and competitive examinations and are then cheated. This is a direct exploitation of a critical need that affects students' futures. 9. INCOMPLETE TRAINING COURSES Heavy fees are charged for training courses that are abandoned midway and never completed. 10. HARASSMENT AND THREATS When victims demand refunds, they are threatened by a so-called legal team that does not exist. In some cases, objectionable messages have been sent to contacts of female victims — a serious criminal offence. APPEAL TO ALL MEMBERS Please do not engage with Audio TV Network or Aman Chaudhary in any form — whether for courses, equipment, counselling, insurance, scribe services, trips, or investments. Do not pay any amount of money. If you or someone you know has already been affected: 1. Do not be intimidated by threats from his so-called legal team — they are hollow and fake. 2. Preserve all evidence — WhatsApp chats, call recordings, and bank or UPI payment screenshots. 3. File a complaint immediately at your nearest cybercrime cell or police station, or online at cybercrime.gov.in. Please share this warning across all WhatsApp groups, Facebook pages, and community networks so that no further members of our community fall victim to this fraud.
