1. The Google TV Streamer 4K is not officially launched in India. I
purchased an imported unit from Amazon India.
2. Since it is not officially available here, Amazon India is currently the
way to get it as an imported unit. Just keep in mind that it comes with a
US plug, so you will need a US to India plug adapter.
3. The user interface is smooth and snappy. The experience is nothing like
the Airtel Xstream Box. Since this is a Google device, the TalkBack
experience is really good and well optimized.
This is actually my first Android TV device. I had no prior experience with
anything like the Xstream Box, but based on what others have shared, the
Google TV Streamer is a significant step up in terms of accessibility.
Currently it is running Android 14, and from what I have read, it is
expected to receive the Android 16 update later this year. So accessibility
should improve even further once that update rolls out.
