Dear Members,

*Can accessible journeys become a pathway to confidence, independence, and
global citizenship?*

At *Rising Star Khilte Chehre (RSKC)*, we have spent the last *eight years*
proving that it can.

Through *23 community-led learning initiatives*, more than *20**00+
visually impaired participants* have travelled together, challenged
stereotypes, built confidence, strengthened independence, and discovered
that the world is far more accessible than they had imagined. For many,
these journeys marked their first experience beyond their hometown, their
first train journey, or their first opportunity to travel independently
within a supportive community.

Today, that journey crosses borders.

We are delighted to announce the *RSKC Global Learning Journey – Singapore
| India Vision Bridge*, our *first international Global Learning Journey*.

This initiative is built on a simple belief: T*ravel is one of the most
powerful classrooms for learning.*

Rather than focusing only on destinations, the Global Learning Journey is
designed around exposure, confidence-building, cultural exchange, and
real-world learning. Participants will experience how an internationally
recognised accessible city functions, explore inclusive public spaces and
transport systems, engage with a new culture, and build friendships that
extend beyond geographical boundaries.

Singapore is thoughtfully chosen as the next destination because of its
global reputation for accessible infrastructure, inclusive urban planning,
efficient public transport, innovation, and multicultural society. It
offers an ideal environment for visually impaired travellers to experience
what an inclusive city can look and feel like while inspiring new
possibilities for accessibility and independent living back home.

Participants may travel independently or with a parent, spouse, sibling,
friend, or companion. To make the journey more accessible, RSKC has
arranged *premium accommodation, all 3 meals / day (not just breakfast),
local transportation, and comprehensive accessibility support* throughout
the programme.

For RSKC, Singapore is not the destination. It is the part of a larger
vision—to build bridges between visually impaired communities across
countries, encourage global exchange, and create opportunities where travel
becomes a catalyst for leadership, confidence, learning, and inclusion.

We warmly invite visually impaired individuals to express their interest
and welcome organisations, accessibility professionals, institutions, and
global partners who believe that mobility and inclusion must go hand in
hand.

We look forward to welcoming the first international cohort of the RSKC
Global Learning Journey and continuing to demonstrate that when barriers
are thoughtfully removed, the world becomes a place to explore—not just
imagine.
