Hello everyone, my name is Shivakumar RC, and I am reaching out to this
community from Mysore, Karnataka.
I am currently in the market for a new smartphone and am strongly
considering purchasing the Moto Edge 70 in the near future. Because I rely
entirely on a screen reader for all my smartphone navigation, daily digital
tasks, and media consumption, getting firsthand feedback from fellow screen
reader users is absolutely crucial before I make my final decision. If
anyone in this group is currently using the Moto Edge 70 as their primary
device, I would be incredibly grateful to hear about your real-world,
hands-on experiences.
While I have reviewed the general specifications, I am specifically looking
for your practical insights regarding a few critical areas of accessibility:
 * **Audio Output and Speaker Clarity:** Since audio feedback is my primary
method of interacting with the device, the quality and volume of the
speakers are extremely important to me. How loud, rich, and clear are the
speakers? I am specifically interested to know if TalkBack or other screen
reader synthesized voices remain crisp and easily understandable when you
are navigating outdoors, in busy traffic, or in other noisy environments.
Furthermore, does the earpiece deliver clear, well-balanced audio during
standard voice calls without any distortion?
 * **Touch Response and Gesture Accuracy:** Screen sensitivity is another
vital factor for seamless navigation. How efficiently and accurately does
the display register standard screen reader gestures? I would love to know
about your experiences with multi-finger swipes, double-tapping,
drag-and-drop actions, and standard explore-by-touch navigation. Have you
experienced any noticeable lag, sluggishness, or delayed responses when
rapidly navigating through complex menus or quickly typing on the on-screen
keyboard?
 * **Physical Design and Form Factor:** I understand this specific device
may feature unique design elements, such as curved screen edges or a
specific aspect ratio. Does the physical shape of the screen cause any
frustrating accidental touches, or does it interfere in any way with
performing edge-swipe gestures necessary for your screen reader? Does the
phone feel comfortable and secure to hold and operate with one hand during
extended use?
 * **Software Stability and Battery Performance:** Beyond the physical
hardware, how stable is the overall software experience with accessibility
services running continuously in the background? Are there any annoying
bugs, glitches, or interface quirks specific to screen reader usage on
Motorola's customized user interface? Additionally, since screen readers
can be quite demanding on battery life, how well does the battery hold up
throughout a full day of heavy usage, and are the charging speeds adequate
for your daily routine?
Your practical insights, honest opinions, and detailed feedback will be
incredibly valuable in helping me make a confident and informed purchase
decision. Thank you so much in advance for your time, support, and
willingness to share your experiences with me!
