Dear All, Union Bank of India has introduced Indian Sign Language (ISL) Interpretation support through live Video Call to make banking services more accessible for customers with hearing impairment. This service helps in accessible communication through a trained Sign Language Interpreter.
Customers and branch officials can access this service through the UVA Chatbot (available on corporate website) by selecting the Video Chat – Sign Language option. Bank has encouraged its staff to use this facility to assist deaf or hearing-impaired customers visiting the branches. To promote inclusive customer service, Union Bank has also encouraged its employees to complete the "Introductory Course on Indian Sign Language (ISL)" available on the Bank's e-learning platform. Union Bank of India is continuously enhancing its products and services to ensure equal access, inclusion and accessibility for all customers. Thanks & Regards Prashant Naik -- Disclaimer: 1.
