Dear Mister Kayne and Muruganandan,

Thank you. Both of you.

Mister Kayne — the digital-first argument is the kind of thing that needs
to be said loudly and without apology in rooms where people are still
debating whether accessibility is necessary. I will take it in exactly that
spirit.

Muruganandan — the point about educating parents is one I had not thought
about in those terms before. The fear that a disabled peer will affect
their child's grades — that is a real barrier I had not named. Thank you
for naming it.

I promised to compile these responses and take them back to the room where
the question was asked. That is what I will do.

If anyone else has a thought — one thing, however small — I am still
listening.
