Let us split your requirements into 2 components. 1. For checking what a document is, like reading the label on a file, checking the first page, smart glasses will work. 2. For actual reading of documents, stick to a flatbed scanner like cannon or, look at camera scanners like keebo and the offerings from Sparsh Products in Dehradun. The problem with smart glasses and reading documents is that by definition, they will mute or move to the next item of text in the camera view if you move your head. That is by design. This is why I suggest use desktop solutions for document reading. However, if your business involves reading documents on the go, then may I urge you to first try using your mobile phone with apps like seeing ai that already have evolved scanning options?
