Exactly! Cross disability sounds great on paper but in my view it has screwed up the disability movement. Each disability comes with its own specifics, the society, the Govt, the schools – all see it as a complicated uphill task. Pandits might attack me on this but I stand firm on this view.

When you build something for the disabled or you want to have a dialogue with non-disabled about disability, it is always better to focus on one type of disability rather than many types . Imagine being a non-disabled and you are thinking about a solution or a problem. you are overwhelmed by the types of disabilities and you don't know what to do and endup doing nothing because of the complexity that you have before you. it is wrong to think of the sphere of disabilities and problems and their solutions under one umbrella. The needs of a person with locomotor disabilities is different from the needs of a person with blindness. so, decide your problem first. finally, If you want problems, focus on many. If you want solutions, focus on one. many offers chaos and confusions. one brings knowledge and solutions.
