Dear friends, A new study audited 35 government hospitals across Madhya Pradesh and Goa. The overall accessibility score was 32.6%. Toilets scored 4%. Not a single hospital had a sign-language interpreter.
What makes the study different is who did the counting — persons with disabilities were trained as field auditors, not treated as beneficiaries waiting for access.
