Yes, this is the case with us as well. Both my husband and I are totally blind. My husband has Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), while I am a late-blind person due to glaucoma (not RP). We have a child who is fully sighted and non-disabled. Also, we know several other couples in our network where one or both partners have RP, and it is not necessary that the disorder gets passed on to their children. Best regards, Odeta Kapoor
