While international services like Aira have set a benchmark, a homegrown solution tailored to Indian needs, especially with local language support and sensible pricing, is something many of us genuinely need. Having trained visual assistants who understand accessibility can make everyday tasks like navigating public transport, reading signs, or managing quick visual tasks much smoother and more dignified. The idea of involving persons with disabilities as assistants is also commendable, as it creates meaningful livelihood opportunities within the community itself.
