Dear friends,

I need help and inputs from the A I list members who are in the computer
programming and IT (software training) field.

Along with Shiv Raheja I have collected some information on what changes
needs to be done when using different software programming languages and
technologies. Fortunately current JAWS version supports many programming
languages. However I feel our friends who are using these languages and/or
those learning / teaching software programming can give me more detail
information and their valuable inputs on this.

I am looking for following things:

1. How a faculty can teach different programming languages to a visually
challenged student. (any specific methodology?)

2. What JAWS customization needs to be done. (other than freedom scientific
recommended windows/application settings).

3. What are the works around to get while operating software programming
packages or writing codes?. E.g. instead Turbo C we use notepad to write
code and DOS to execute.

4. JAWS support for C++, MS SQL Server, Oracle, JAVA, crystal reports, J2ee,
ASP, JSP, dot net, VC, web programming, UNIX, different versions of
these and latest software programming platforms.

5. Any specific instructions for faculties and for students,

If anyone have readymade documentation and resources on this please share
with me on my personal ID.

Cheers,
Prashant Naik
