Dear All, DD has been covering the Olympics. I am a little disappointed with the quality of the commentaries. Half the information is not conveyed and hence I would term the coverage rather inaccessible. Besides the commentators are of a standard that compromises quality.
I think there is a definite need for us to engage with the media to help them define what is accessible coverage for the blind and visually impaired. I believe the sports channels need to orient their commentators to be able to cover events keeping visually impaired viewers in mind.
