Delhi has started a scholarship scheme for the persons of delhi region.
Please find the information below.

SANJAY TANDON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR BLIND PURSUING HIGHER EDUCATION:

NAB Delhi has started a scholarship scheme named "SANJAY TANDON MEMORIAL
SCHOLARSHIP" for visually impaired students pursuing higher education on
behalf of late Mr. Sanjay Tandon's family. NAB recognized the lack of
support for visually impaired persons pursuing higher education & has
therefore devised this perennial scheme. This scheme will support one or
more students every year by providing financial assistance of upto Rs. 2000
per month to pay their fees, hostel expenses, stationary etc. We are
extremely thankful to Mr. K.C. Tandon, father of late Mr. Sanjay Tandon
for providing the corpus for this scheme.

Visually impaired persons from weaker economic background pursuing
graduation, post-graduation or other professional courses are encouraged to
apply for this scholarship. Please disseminate this information among your
students/members so that this scheme reaches the most deserving candidates.
Financial Assistance will be given for the period October 2008-September
2009 & the last date for sending the attached application is September 15,
2008.
