I might add to this cleaning up your temp files.
Close all applications.  With the exception of your screen reader.
Go to, run, Windows key r.
Type in:
%temp%
Notice the percent sign before and after the word, temp.
Press enter.
Do a control a to select all.
Press your shift delete.
Say yes to are you sure.
Do an alt f4.


now re start and check your performance
