Not true George.I too have a Dell. I dont like it because it is too heavy. I never hear it through the head phones but through the speaker of the laptop and it is loud and I can say very loud. I used to have a Sony vio but that was softer than the Dell.
Think of the weight of the machine before you buy it. All the macho men on accessindia also find it difficult to lug the laptop around. Anyway it is not good for health.
