Hello, The download speed is very confusing. BSNL announces 2 mbps. It means 2 mega bits per sec. In that case, the download speed should be 256 mega byte per sec. However, I have never seen that much speed either at home or at office. In the free hour it is evem slower. Right now the speed on my office pc is 728 kbps or 91 KBPS. The maximum speed I have obtained is about 1000 1600 kbps or 200 KBPS. Check if an advertisement writes kbps in small letters or in capital letters. The lowercase kbps means kilo bits per sec, the uppercase KBPS means kilo bytes per sec.
