Dear Friends,

The Judgement is very valid as it expresses its concern on spreading of
Leprosy (in its communicable form) - meaning thereby that it is active
leprosy.

However, once cured, Leprosy Cured Person is covered as a Person with
Disability in the Disability Act-1995 provided his disability exceeds 40%
after due medical assessment. And disability is not a disqualification to
hold any Public Office.

So, we can keep our faith still on the legal acumen of the Honorable
judges!!

regards
