Recommendations of the Sixth Central Pay Commission. Consequent upon the acceptance of the recommendation of the Sixth Central PayCommission and in modifications of this Department's OM No. 19039/3/98-E.IV, dated18th September, 1998 the President is pleased to revise the rates of Fixed ConveyanceAllowance admissible under SR-25 as indicated below: Fixed ConveyanceAllowanceAverage monthly travelFor journeys by own motor carFor journeys by otheron official dutymodes of conveyance(in Rupees)(in Rupees) 201-300Kms1120370301-450kms1680480451-600kms2070640601-800kms2430750Above 800 kms 30008502. - These rates shall automatically increase by 25% whenever the DearnessAllowance payable on the revised pay structure goes up by 50%. 3. These orders will be effective from 1" September 2008.4.
