Hi all, Congratulations to Dipendra and the Saksham trust for getting the program into India at this price. I am using the program and it has saved me a lot of running around with taxi drivers.
I have also been able to verify where they are going and to question them regarding the route they are taking. It just gives you that much more control. You can of course use the program while walking too. You can also add favorites such as your house, your friend's house etc and other places that are not on the map. The maps though are quite comprehensive at least for Delhi and Gurgaon. If you want to reduce your data usage, you can download the maps from http://access.mywayfinder.com. Note: India is a separate region so do not click on "asia" when on this site. The favorites are stored on the wayFinder server so, even if you change your phone, you can synchronise them to the new phone by choosing the relevant option from the favorites dialog. Also, in terms of licensing, if you change your phone, you just enter your activation code on the new phone and you are done. The licensing model is user based and not phone based.
