the employment department of national association for the blind (india )
has started another call centre for the blind in collabaration with a franchise
of vodafone at its rustoom alpaiwala complex ,rey road, mumbai. at present
there are 30 visually challenged call centre agents making outgoing calls for
telemarketting various vodafone products.the strength of this call centre can
be increased upto 50 subject to the availability of suitable v.i candidates.the
average income per agent is about 4,000 to 5,000 rs per month which includes
the basic salary of rs 3,000 and incentive for each sale transaction.fluency
over spoken english is not a must for this centre as the agents are mostly
conversing in hindi and marathi.
