I tried with three different accounts on Brinkster.com but without results. we
can create a page on google.com where most of the facilities are abailable but
the html editer is not very accessible.

I am trying my hands and my poor little brain on web development, as I have
joined an online free web course. As a part of my project, I need a free web
hosting site, where I can upload my html file. If any one knows an accessible
site apart from brinkster, I request to please inform me. I was able to open an
account with brinkster, but, that plan did not have option to upload html
files. If any one knows how to cancel that account, I also request to inform
me. I tried to open another account, but was not able to, because I already
have an account with my email address, they asked me to enter another email
address, and hence I am not able to open the desired account.
