Essay Competition as a Part of Bicentennial Birth Anniversary Celebration of Monsieur Louis Braille Topic: The Social Implication of the Invention of Braille System Eligibility: Open to all visually impaired persons Medium: English (in not more than 2,000 words) Submission Process: Brailled or typed matter must reach our office within November 28, 2008. Email attachments will be accepted. The entry must contain in a separate sheet the candidate's full name, postal address, phone number and email address (if any), age and occupation. Result will be announced on this web site In January and prizes will be distributed at the concluding ceremony of Louis Braille's birth bicentenary. Prize winners will be notified in time.
