I face more or less the same problem. When you click on the download link, you get an option called "download with Free Download Manager". When I click it I get a dialogue box that says "Add download". If I press ok which is found in this box, I get no progress box and I don't even know if download is happening or not. So I press escape when I get another dialogue box that asks me if the file has to be saved or opened. I press save and also "save as" that follows this box. When I do this I see the progress bar but am not sure if download is happening through FDM. How to solve this?
