Please note that I have never tried this out. But you could give it a try
and it seems that one can get more info regarding the status of our phone
battery.

Subject: [Talks] more information on phone battery monitor and a
newapplication
Last night i found another interesting application called battery manager.
this application looks quite cool as its main function seems to be to
execute particular things if your battery reaches a certain level.
for example if this program is running, you could set a rule up so that if
the battery hits one bar the phone automatically goes into off line mode.
i think the various companies that make profile switching applications
should introduce somethingng similar, i might drop them an e mail.
anyway for those of you who want it the battery manager application is
available at
http://dailymobile.se/2008/11/14/symbian-application-battery-manager/
when you click the download link you get taken to another page and the
actual file is there just look for it lol.
and for those of you who still want to try py battery, go to the url i
gave you the download links are on that page, why do people never explore
pages propperly. there are links to the actual file names.
