and Facebook?
This question is from Jaws users.
Like we can check font, is there a way to check the colour of the
friend's name or link because the friend's name appears as a link? If
we can check then we can determine that if the colour of the link is
green than the person is online.

Hello,
What if the account of the user is not associated with Google Talk in
orkut?
In yahoo there is one more way to hide the offline friends.
But if in facebook the person is online then we can chat.

Hi, I do have an account in face book, but have not tried it yet.
Can you throw some light on it.
What's it all about?
Regarding online status, in yahoo messenger, we can know by 2 ways.
1.
By the changed graphics number. Means if the person is off line, then
it
reads graphic 122, and if online graphic 382 and if web cam is
available,
something else.
2.
By pressing insert + f and checking the font size. Means, if the person
is
online, then it will be bold.
So see wither it works with face book.

Hurrah! Accessindians,
My exams are going to over on 25th.
Lets get on to the point.
According to F.A.Q. of Facebook and Orkut, when somebody comes online,
something of green colour appears after their name. Exactly don't
remember.
Now, my question is that how can a screen reader user come to know
this that weather somebody is online or not?
In Orkut an alternative is to use google talk but what about Facebook?
Is there any direct way to check this in both the sites?
Expecting your guidance.
Regards,
Amar Jain.
