dear friends,
I have jaws 9 and it types Hindi in mangle fonts but it does not read Hindi
text by up down arrow or control up down keys, please tell me any solution
of this problem. my computer reads internet downloaded Hindi files easily
but the typed document in mangle fonts is not readable by any option.
please guide me if there is any setting problem.

I did not install Hindi from regional language settings and still jaws
reads Hindi on my pc. Perhaps you will not need this change either.
Anyway, if you want to write Hindi, you will have to install it from the
cd. Follow these steps:
1. Go to Control Panel / Regional Language Settings and press ctrl_tabg
once to access the Languages page.
2. Check the checkbox that says "checked Install files for complex script
and right-to-left languages (including Thai)".
3. Press shift+tab once and activate the "text services and input language
details" option.
4. It will open the installed services dialogue box. Tab over to the "add
button and activate it.
5. It will yet another dialogue box for add input language. The first
control is a combo box for selecting input language. Press the letter h
until Hindi is selected.
6. The next control is also a combo box for keyboard layout. Hindi
traditional should be automatically selected. If you have any other layout
supplied by a third party, it will also be available. Otherwise the
default selection is all right.
7. Now you will have to the Ok buttons sequentially to close all dialogue
boxes. Windows will prompt for the xp cd for necessary files. Follow the
prompts. Windows will ask for restart to complete the installation.
8. Once the installation is complete, you can switch input language for
writing by pressing alt+left shift key. The key combination is the same
for English and Hindi. It is a toggle.
Mangal is the windows font for Hindi. You can write Hindi in any
application.
