Dear Sir/Madam, We have the honour to announce that Blind Persons' Association is organising a well-decorated march in Kolkata to commemorate the 200th birth anniversary of Monsieur Louis Braille, the inventor of tactile system of reading and writing for the sightless, on January 4, 2009 at 2 PM. The members, volunteers and innumerable well-wishers of the organisation are likely to participate in this memorable march to pay tribute to the achievement of this great inventor. All members and friends of the Association are expected to report at Jyotin Das Park (near Hajra Crossing) within 2 PM. The procession will start after a brief meeting. It will proceed along Asutosh Mukherjee Road and disperse at Rabindra Sadan area about 5 PM.
