1. Please do not mention about the person who was demoted after disability. thats the worst example you can give and it spoils the entire case.
2. You need to have a list of officers in all Banks and not necessarily SBI.
3. Is this person competent that means does he know JAWS,mobility, braille
4. Did he check what work he can do before going for the meeting in Bangalore? 5. I had explained to you that when we go for interviews we have to be proactive. It is for us to steer the interviewer from our disability to our ability.

Subject: Re: [AI] Need information about VH employees in SBI

Hi friends

A small clarification needed from any of our learned friends.
When we talk about VH persons in SBI, do we need to make sure that the
person should be disabled at the time of appointment?
I have an example in Tirupati, where a person has joined as a normal
employee and as he suffered age related macular degeneration, got
appointed as a telephone operator.
Can we present these kinds of cases before the management?
I hope someone like Rajesh sir would clarify this issue.
I also request Rajesh sir to add any more specifications to my earlier
mail, if needed.
Once again friends, please write to my personal mail ID and not on the
list about the information needed.
I don't want to see Harish sir warning someone in this regard.

Friends

I am very sorry to bring to your notice the following case.
A person with RP has been denied a job in SBI under the VH category on
the ground that he has a progressive eye disease.
This happened in Karnataka and now he is waiting for the final report
to be given by a doctor who still thinks that completely blind persons
are not given jobs in banking sector, especially in SBI.
Being a VH person with RP, I am ashamed to present this before you as
I got the same job he has applied for at the same time and was
appointed and have already drawn my first salary.
See the discrimination within the same organisation between two
adjacent states in India, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
Now, what I want from you is the details about VH persons with 100%
disability working in SBI.
Names, post, place of working and preferably the branch phone number.
I am not talking about persons who have got jobs this time along with
me as I am advised by some of our learned access Indian friends not to
mention our names in this regard to avoid further complications.
I want details of those persons who have completed their probation
period and are working as permenant employees of SBI.
We have to do it as quickly as we can.
Don't send them to the list.
Please send them to my personal mail ID.

Once again, I feel very sorry to have written a mail like this to a
list where we have persons like Harish sir and Rajesh sir and lot
others who have proved themselves in the banking sector.
Awaiting replies.
