The informational protest is scheduled THIS Tuesday in NYC and press coverage is expected. Yes, whereas the specific protest right now is with the U.S.-based Authors Guild, they do represent some international authors, so anyone can sign and send a comment directly or through the website: http://www.readingrights.org/ Also, if you have any, please send some stats on Braille usage. I'm working on a piece with Coalition Members since that is the majority of comments we're getting. "Why don't they just read Braille!" We view this website as being central to the DAISY mainstream awareness effort and are involved in maintaining it with the idea that the transformation from print will go beyond resolution of this current issue, and much education is needed.
