Following this information, I am working on a report. So would like the
opinion of anyone, besides Mr. Karnik, who have handled this coin. Pl
mention if this is widely available in the country. Though Mr. Karnak
says this is available (in Mumbai), no one seems to have used this in
Bangalore.

Subject: [AI] Ten rupees coin.

dear friends,

just few days back government of india has issued a ten rupee
coin.this coin is of the same size of that the new two rupee coin.if
perhaps it may be little more in weight but quite difficult to
differentiate.

inspite of our repeated request to the concerned authorities not
to finalize the design of the coin before consulting the organisations
of the blind they have committed the same mistake again.

                                                      regards,

                                                   suhas karnik.
