In office 2007, MS word had a feature under the open file dialog. after the
file name, in the file types options, there was an option "text from any
file". select this option and open the ppt file if you have office 2007.

I need to convert some Powerpoint files into Word files in order to insert
comments after each slide. Is there any method/ software available which
would convert the entire Powerpoint file into Word instead of having to
copy & paste each slide into Word?
