They are on the look out for a Marketing Executive in India to promote their vison . Job Description - Marketing Executive The Project is a web-based digital library that gives people with print disabilities the same ease of access to books and periodicals enjoyed by those without disabilities.The candidate will explore the availability of accessible reading material to print-disabled individuals in various states, assess the need for Bookshare services; and provide critical building blocks towards effective launch of the services The job would require extensive travelling across the country Responsibilities: * Evaluate the markets and their readiness for the new technology . Research how the print-disabled access educational and informational material now and the availability of computers and internet connections. * Identify partner organizations in those markets, such as NGOs, social service agencies, and schools working with the print-disabled. Introduce the concept and work with them to create partner programs. * Assess the type of reading material required by the print-disabled community and evaluate fit with the organisation's collection. Identify the top five publishers in each state and work with themm and liaison to build relationships. * Attend conferences, seminars, workshops on behalf of Bookshare and make presentations * Conduct training sessions and workshops * Work with the membership team to sign up new members. Qualifications * MBA (required) * Technical background preferred * Marketing skills and releavnt experience * Strong interest in education and disability technology * Excellent writing skills Self-starter who can work independently without a lot of supervision Salary - Rs.25,000 to Rs.30,0000 per month approximately Location - Chennai Disability Type - Candidates with low Vision would be ideally suited for the role .
