hello accessindians!

well, i've not been observing emails and online matters lately due to exams,
and since there's only 1 paper left, i thought i'll give it a look.

before writing any further about this subject, i'd like to point out that i'm
no moderator, and not any1 superior to any other member, but would just like to
point out something which have been recently active at accessindia.

few days ago, some accessindian member, posted the link of say the time
software, which, i agree is well under rules of sharing accessible softwares,
and would most definitely help many of us to set our schedules, appointments,
important dates, etc.
but what's not under rules is sharing the cracked, hacked, or illegal
softwares, and the version which was posted, was most certainly a cracked copy
of the software.

if you visit http://www.saythetime.com/

you'll notice that they do provide a 30 day demo copy, and not the full version.

well, as a matter of fact, the actual cost to fully use that software for an
unlimited period is around $24.95 and can be found at.

http://www.saythetime.com/store/

i understand that in a developing countries peoples doesn't have enough money
to purchase each and every software, infact even most of our user's are not
even running legal copies of windows xp!

well, that's not the matter here, the concern here is, most of such freely
available cracks uploaded to file sharing sites, such as sendspace or
rapidshare contains viruses, spywares, keyloggers, malwares etc etc.

so, i'd like all members to refrain from downloading softwares from such file
sharing resources, and trust from downloading from the actual website of the
producer. and i'd like to request the senders to double, triple check before
posting informations to accessindia, since this is most certainly not a list
for cracked or hacked software sharing.

while i'm not sure how safe or unsafe internally or externally that cracked
copy of say the time is, and if you'll even ever notice its damages, it could
be a clean cracked software, or it could be a keyLogger or a spyware quietly
sitting at your system tray to record your key strokes and send your secured
informations over internet to
its creator to compromise your email ID or, maybe your banking
transactions -- who knows?

i'd like to conclude this post with last words that, untill you are very
extremely technically
