Folks -

Firstly appologies for using this platform but I did not find any best
alternative place.

I think ETV (Eenadu Television) is probably first channel (at least in my
knowledge) to organize music competation for visually impaired under the
programme called "Black - Color of music" - Right now, final round is
broadcasting. (Oops.. I noticed this programme pretty late). The singers
performed really well.

I was told that my parents and my brother are following this programme for
quite some time and they are really impressed.

While we were talking about it, my father came up with an idea (ours is
basically a family of music - though I'm not) that we should organize a
concert at "Thyagaraja Aaradhana Utsav" - an annual event that happens at
different parts of South India (Including our village "Injaram" in East
Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh) to pay respect to Shri. Thyagaraja =
the very ancient Guru of Carnatic music.

Folks from Andhra Pradesh, if you are a participant in above ETV programme
or if you know any one who participated, request you to contact me off the
list at [email protected] Our family shall be honored to meet up
with these folks. I might approach ETV and request them for this info -
but I thought I might get info from this list much quickly rather than
approaching ETV.

As said earlier, once again appologies for off-topic posting.

Thanks,
Srinivasu
