Airtel slashes STD tariff to 75p for pre-paid customers
New Delhi (PTI): Telecom major Bharti Airtel on Thursday announced the launch
of a special STD pack that will allow its pre-paid customers in Delhi and
NCR circle to make STD calls at 75 paise per minute.
Under the plan, customers can enjoy unlimited STD calls to anywhere in India to
any mobile or landline number for 30 days at a tariff of 75 paise per minute
by recharging with a Rs 47 pack, Airtel said in a statement.
"Airtel has launched this cost effective recharge voucher with a strategic
intent of bringing down STD tariff and driving affordability for our pre-paid
customers in Delhi and NCR region," Bharti Airtel Chief Executive Officer
(Mobile Services - Delhi and NCR) Shashi Arora said.
