Hi Yes they are available in India. You can get a HP, Dell, Acer, Asus, Sony and of course the Apple. they come in different sizes of body and screen, colours and weights. the catch is that they dont come for under $300 but are priced around Rs. 20,000 and more.
Some friends are using the netbooks and are quite satisfied.
