This same or similar kind of problem has been recently discussed in our access india list and if I remember exactly, someone in this list have provided this following solution.
Just go to your yahoo mail box. Place the cursor over the e-mail that you are intending to open. press right mouse button and you will get some options and the the first one should be open.
