Sir, Answer to your immage question,

Go toTools>Options>Content, there will be a check box "load immages"
something...., uncheck that.
Regards,

Amar Jain.

Subject: [AI] Doubt About Firefox

dear friends,
in internet explorer, as you know, there is an option to turn off videos,
animations and pictures in web pages for those who do not want such stuff so
that they can increase the browsing speed. as we keep away all nontext
content, this is a protection against viruses to an extent. if ours is not
an unlimited internet connection, this is also useful for keeping the
downloadable data within limits. is there such an option in firefox? if
yes, can anyone please tell me how can I do it in firefox? after I have
installed firefox, my default web browser happens to be firefox. how can I
change it in to internet explorer?

with warm regard, gopi t k
